Cathy and Gerard Cace Receive Color Us Proud Award
Thank You, Cace Family, for Your Loyal Support!
 At the March 2010 Longview ISD Board of Trustees meeting, Kay Ray, Executive Director of the Longview ISD Foundation, Inc., presented a Color Us Proud Award to Cathy and Gerard Cace, owners of Johnny Cace's Seafood and Steak House, a dining tradition in Longview for sixty-one years. The Color Us Proud Award honors Cathy and Gerard's service and commitment to the students and educators of Longview ISD through their support of the Longview ISD Foundation, Inc. Johnny Cace's Seafood and Steak House has hosted the annual Mardi Gras Celebration for eight years in support of the annual Lamplighter Awards Banquet. The restaurant donates a percentage of the evening's dining receipts to the Foundation to become a banquet sponsor. The evening is a great party, and diners enjoy a delicious dinner as only Johnny Cace's can serve. Diners also enjoyed the sounds of New Orleans provided by the Longview High School jazz combo under the direction of David Applegate. The Longview ISD Foundation, Inc. truly appreciates the loyal support of Johnny Cace's Seafood and Steak House.
