Twenty for Twenty Campaign Honoring the Foundation's 20th Anniversary

You can be a part of a special, historical moment in the life of the Longview ISD Foundation, Inc. 

2015 marks the 20th anniversary of the Longview ISD Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 education foundation whose mission is to request, receive, maintain, and use funds to maximize the quality of education available in Longview ISD.

How has the Longview ISD Foundation, Inc. helped students throughout Longview ISD?

Since 1996, the Longview ISD Foundation, Inc. has funded 573 grants through the Great Rewards for Great Ideas Program, formerly known as the Grants-to-Teachers Program, returning $535,294 to Longview ISD classrooms. Each day students learn enjoy and learn from educational programs or educational tools and materials provided by the Foundation.

The Longview ISD Foundation, Inc. helps teachers, counselors, librarians, and nurses offer more educational opportunities to LISD students in all academic disciplines as well as physical education, career education and training, music, art, and technology.

Since 2008, the Longview ISD Foundation has funded seventeen Campus Initiative Grants for a total of $48,240 to increase student achievement with learning projects designed by the campus principal and staff.

The Longview ISD Foundation, Inc. is very proud of this funding achievement, but it wants to return even more than $583,534.00 to maximize the quality of education available in Longview ISD.
