Foundation Plaza Inscribed Brick

Your Tribute to the Past ~ Your Gift to the Future
 
A project of the Longview ISD Foundation Inc., Foundation Plaza is a 3250 square feet plaza development located near Lobo Stadium's south entrance. Completed in the fall of 1997, Foundation Plaza provides a beautiful setting for social and academic gatherings. The Plaza is a prominent campus landmark and source of pride to LISD students, staff, and patrons.
 
All construction costs, including benches and landscaping, were underwritten by several generous donors and the LISD Foundation as a gift to LISD. Beautiful bronze monuments honor the individuals who funded the construction of the Plaza and the Founding Donors of the Foundation. 

All funds raised from Foundation Plaza support Longview ISD Foundation, Inc. projects such as educational grants and scholarships. The centerpiece of the Plaza is 3,564 bricks, each one bearing the name of the honoree. An alumnus may purchase an inscribed brick to commemorate his or her school years, a parent may honor a graduate, or an alumnus may honor a teacher. A Plaza brick is a permanent means to honor someone special to you. 

Bricks are available for $150 each in the Varsity area of the Plaza and for $300 each in the L-shaped area in the center of the Plaza known as the Wolf Pack. There is no better way to honor a student, teacher, alumnus or anyone special to you or to make a memorial gift. An engraved brick in the Foundation Plaza is a lasting tribute and gift to the continuing excellence of the Longview Independent School District.
