Lobo Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Longview ISD Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce the merger of the Lobo Memorial Scholarship Fund with the Foundation.
The Lobo Memorial Scholarship Fund will continue to seek donations and award scholarships to deserving Longview High School seniors just as it has done for fifteen years. Since 2001, the fund has awarded more than $85,000 in scholarships to LHS seniors.
Now, however, the fund will be a part of the Longview ISD Foundation, and the scholarship recipients will be named by a committee within the Foundation. This year Emily Erisman Myers, Longview ISD Foundation board member, LHS graduate, and member of the Lobo Scholarship Memorial Fund, will chair that committee with members of the Longview ISD Foundation serving as committee members. Sally Gossett Barron and Dietrich Johnson, former members of the Lobo Memorial Scholarship Fund and LHS graduates, will also serve on the scholarship committee. The Lobo Memorial Scholarship Fund will continue to raise funds annually for the scholarships and award scholarships.
Your donation to the scholarship fund is tax deductible, and you will receive an acknowledgement for your tax records.
By donating to the Lobo Memorial Scholarship Fund, you will be investing in the future of Longview High School seniors as they continue their college, university, or technical school education.
