Lamplighter Awards Banquet Sponsor
For the past 25 years, the Longview Independent School District (LISD) Foundation’s Lamplighter Awards Banquet has provided students a way to recognize the hard work and dedication of their teachers and educators. Lamplighter Award recipients are selected through an essay writing competition, where students submit entries to nominate their favorite instructor.
In addition to the Lamplighter Awards, the Foundation also recognizes retired, yet very active, educators with the Cornerstone Award as a way to thank them for their continued service to the students of LISD in their time beyond the classroom.
